Every time I think about what you went through, it gives me such great hope for my son who suffered a TBI…You never gave up and look at you today. Your recovery is a result of your strength and great faith. Those with disabilities look up to you because you share your gifts and encourage them to create new lives. J. M. New York"

For years, Deborah has spoken about people with disabilities and stress management. She blends humor and passion with her life experiences into presentations that have been called “powerful” and “life changing.”
Engagements range from keynote addresses to full-day workshops. Some sessions are geared toward caregivers and professionals while others meet the needs of people with disabilities. Because her faith played such an important role in her transformation, she also speaks at spiritual and religious organizations.
Her credits include engagements for hospitals, businesses, community functions, schools and universities, cancer organizations, brain injury associations, support groups, churches and equestrian facilities. She speaks widely in her role as a representative for the Brain Injury Association of New York State (BAINYS). Call today for a transformative dose of survival, hope and renewal.

[Deborah Schneider] vividly recreates the appalling loneliness, memory loss, and cognitive slowdown that tormented her in the early stages of recovery. Eventually, however, determination and spiritual strength allowed her to overcome the wounds of both her childhood and her brain injury….[T]he book’s central message, apparent in the subtitle, is a profound one: a trauma can ultimately become a transformative gift, as it has for this author, if one masters the ability to learn from it.
