Welcome Friends
In 1995, a two-ton truck going 50 mph rear-ended Deborah’s station wagon. The accident left her with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) so severe she functioned at the level of a five-year-old child. Nearly a decade of chronic pain, post-traumatic stress and haunting memories followed. As her marriage dissolved and her sons became her caregivers, she encountered more difficulties including abuse by one of her professional health care providers. She then began an amazing spiritual transformation that allowed her to rebuild her life and serve as an inspiration to others.
She founded Wind Dancing New Beginnings, Inc. to bring an important message to people battling stress, depression, disability and abuse:
You can SURVIVE. You can feel HOPE.
You can RENEW YOUR LIFE.
Today Deborah is a motivational speaker, advocate and author. She is driven by her own memories of suffering to help people understand the needs and goals of individuals with disabilities. She speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves. This allows everyone the opportunity to understand the trials people with numerous challenges must endure and overcome in order to focus on a more productive and healthier life for themselves and their families.
